Goal

Collect more seeds in your store (right side) than your opponent by the end of the game. The board starts with 4 seeds in each of the 12 pits.

Taking a Turn

• Click any highlighted pit on your side (bottom row)
• All seeds from that pit are picked up and distributed one-by-one counterclockwise
• Seeds go into your store but skip the opponent's store

Special Rules

• Extra turn — if your last seed lands in your store, play again immediately
• Capture — if your last seed lands in an empty pit on your side, you capture all seeds from the directly opposite pit plus your landing seed → moved to your store

End of Game

When all pits on one side are empty, the game ends. Any remaining seeds on the other side go to that player's store. Most seeds wins!

Which direction do seeds travel?

Counterclockwise: right along your row → into your store → left along the opponent's top row → back around. Your store is on the right; the opponent's store is on the left.

What is an "extra turn"?

If your last seed lands exactly in your store, you get to pick any pit and go again — plan your moves to chain extra turns!

What does "capture" mean?

If your last seed drops into an empty pit on your side and the directly opposite pit has seeds, you take all of them plus your seed into your store.

How does AI difficulty work?

• Easy — picks random valid moves
• Medium — greedy strategy: prioritises extra turns then captures
• Hard — minimax search with alpha-beta pruning

Is my best score saved?

Yes — your highest seed count at game end is saved in your browser's local storage and persists between sessions.
