Goal

Stack falling tetrominoes (shaped blocks) to form complete horizontal lines. Completed lines are cleared and you earn points. The game ends when pieces reach the top.

Controls — Desktop

• ← → — move piece left/right
• ↑ — rotate piece
• ↓ — soft drop (move down faster)
• Space — hard drop (instant drop)

Controls — Mobile

• Use the D-pad buttons that appear below the board
• ↻ = rotate · ▼ = soft drop · ⬇ Hard Drop = instant drop

Levels & Scoring

• Level increases every 10 lines cleared
• Pieces fall faster each level
• Clearing multiple lines at once earns bonus points
• The ghost piece (transparent) shows where the piece will land

What is the ghost piece?

The transparent/faded piece shows exactly where your current piece will land if you drop it now. Use it to plan placements accurately.

How do I score more points?

Clear multiple lines at once — a Tetris (4 lines at once) gives the most points. Higher levels also multiply your score.

Yes — your best score is saved in your browser's local storage.
