How to Play

Goal

Clear all tiles from the 8ร—10 board by connecting matching pairs before the 10-minute timer runs out.

Connection Rules

Two matching tiles can be connected if a line between them has at most 2 right-angle turns and passes only through empty cells. The line may travel along the outside edge of the board.

Controls

  • Click a tile to select it (purple glow)
  • Click a second matching tile โ€” they clear if the path is valid
  • Click the selected tile again to deselect
  • Clicking a non-matching tile switches the selection

Power-ups

  • ๐Ÿ’ก Hint โ€” highlights a valid pair you can connect (10 per level)
  • ๐Ÿ”€ Shuffle โ€” rearranges all remaining tiles randomly (10 per level)

Scoring

  • 10 points per matched pair
  • Level completion bonus: 50 + remaining seconds
  • Your best total score is saved across sessions
FAQ

Why can't I connect two matching tiles?

Their path needs more than 2 turns, or all routes are blocked by other tiles. Clear nearby tiles first, or use a Shuffle to open up new paths.

Can the path go outside the board?

Yes! The line can travel along the border outside the grid. This often unlocks connections that look impossible at first glance.

What happens when no moves are left?

If no valid connections exist, the board auto-shuffles using one of your Shuffle charges. If you have none left, the game ends.

Do hints and shuffles reset each level?

No โ€” your remaining hints and shuffles carry over, and you earn +1 of each when you complete a level.

Is my best score saved?

Yes โ€” your highest cumulative score is stored in your browser's local storage.
