Goal

Move all 52 cards to the four foundation piles, one per suit, from Ace up to King.

Tableau

• Stack cards in descending order (King → Ace) with alternating colors (red/black).
• Only Kings (or stacks starting with a King) can be placed on empty columns.
• Drag a face-up card (or stack) to move it. Face-down cards flip when uncovered.

Stock & Waste

• Click the stock pile (top-left) to draw 1 or 3 cards to the waste pile.
• When the stock is empty, click it again to recycle the waste back.
• Play from the top card of the waste pile.

Foundations

• Top-right four slots — one per suit (♠ ♥ ♦ ♣).
• Start each with an Ace, then build up in suit order to King.
• Double-click any card to auto-move it to the correct foundation.

Controls

• Desktop: drag & drop cards; double-click to auto-move.
• Mobile: touch drag; double-tap to auto-move.
• Undo: revert the last move.

Is my best score saved?

Yes — saved automatically in your browser's local storage. It persists between sessions.

How is score calculated?

You earn 10 points per card moved to a foundation. Points are deducted for undo and recycling the stock (in Draw 3 mode).

What's the difference between Draw 1 and Draw 3?

Draw 1 reveals one card at a time from the stock — easier. Draw 3 reveals three cards at once — only the top is playable, making it harder and more strategic.

Can every deal be won?

Not always — roughly 80% of Klondike deals are theoretically winnable, but many require perfect play. If you're stuck, try a new game!

Why can't I move a face-down card?

Face-down cards must be uncovered by moving the cards on top of them. Once the top card is moved, the face-down card flips automatically.
